Course Description
In a stressed or fight or flight state the human brain can lose up to 75% of its cognitive abilities. This fight or flight state is an enormous drain on energy. In a modern world where many spend hours in a stressed state, this becomes a big challenge. This interactive workshop will provide:
- A clear understanding of what stress is and the difference between helpful stress (eustress) and unhelpful stress (distress).
- An ability to recognise the signs and symptoms of chronic stress
- An insight into stress triggers in the work environment; what the more common triggers are and what approach can be taken to reduce these.
